Hey, it is me again! :) Found another "bug". When running the tool, and deleting the history afterwards, everything is fine. But when running that tool, making a copy of that mesh (shift+d), and delete the history on that copied mesh, i cant add a material on that copied mesh. -

If you have other materials not in the package you will have to copy them to the correct package and make sure they are being referenced from the package you are copying them to. If you just copy them with out changing the actual path in the scene you will have problems. -

How about Transfer Attributes? If they are just copies then UV-map then just UV-map one of them and copy this modification to the others through the Transfer Attributes feature (Mesh->Transfer Attributes). Preferably you create one link, UV-map it and then create copies. -

renderhjs for some reason I can't get that last step to work. When I edit in PS and copy I click on the button to transfer in max and I get a no bitmap copied to clipboard error. It seems like it is not accepting the PS clipboard copy for some reason? -

I'll take zyngas part, even if I don't like them. It would essentially being the same as copying angry birds 1:1 and then saying rovio was at fault for copying crush the castle. (but then again, this is all depending on how much zynga actually copied themselves) -

I've not tried it in this context but you may be able to copy the vertex colour channel into a uv channel of your source object then copy it back out on the scattered versions using the channel tool ( in utilities) You'd probably need to do the copy on top of the final scatter object -

It goes both ways. My roomate won a copy of Lightwave at GDC a couple years back in one of the Nvidia art competitions. After he got the copy we went over to the discreet booth and they let him trade it for a copy of 3dsmax, which made him quite happy -

Hi, you can right-click on "Lightmass Settings" and copy, then you paste in a .txt and save. If you need, you can just copy from the .txt and paste on lightmass settings. Almost everywhere in Unreal, when you copy something is plain text that you can save.
