Oooh :O Really cool! Hmm my two cents would be to watch for the shape of the rib cage, on your model the torso armor is a bit too cylindrical while on Mike's concept the shape is more dynamic, closer to the classic superhero silhouette. Are you planning on texturing? That'd be really badass! XD
I had an iphone for a year, always loved google and got a droid. Imo android does everything you'd want in a phone. its brilliant. i had countless problems with iphone os. android seems to work how you'd expect an ideal os to work. just my two cents.
i think its great. the more money the give to people who have the skills to engineer spacecraft the better. because those people i'm sure will not spend one cent of it on MINING ASTEROIDS IN OUTER SPACE!!!. and maybe invest in projects that have a snow balls chance in hell of advancing the science and technology.
I'd still try to get back some of that feel of the previous one, maybe play with the lights in the corridor. . . Here's a little anim of comparison and me trying to break down what's different and how that affects the scene, to figure out why it feels different. Sometimes less is more. . . my 3 cents :)
I see the crate/key system as nothing besides taking advantage of gambling addicts. You'd think that every person would just buy the skins they want off the marketplace for a few cents, but in reality, they only cost so little because there are so many more people buying crates and keys.
Yeah, I agree that crazy bump or something similar might be good enough. It depends how close the camera gets, but I would crazy bump it first and see how it looks before wasting time modeling something u might not even be able to see. Just my 2 cents :)
I would highly recommend not using the javascript fadein of your work. If the user has javascript disabled, or their browser has rendering issues, they may not see anything except a blank page. Just my 2 cents though. Usually fade effects like that, should be reserved for dynamically loaded content.
I watched the leaked version a week or two ago. Anyone who saw the real movie catch it? If more than 10 per cent of what I saw made it into the actual film, I'm pretty sure I do not want to watch this. But it sounds like, for the most part, y'all enjoyed it?
This looks great so far. My only comment would be that the face shape looks a little too full. Personally I would skinny it up a little, but then again that's just my opinion/interpretation, you might have a different idea in mind for this character stylistically, just my 2 cents.
problem is that all the desks in deus ex (at lesast in all the concepts i saw) have those uncomfy 90 degrees... theyre not the best option, but if you wanna stay true to the game lines, a 90 degrees angle would fit better i guess. dunno, just my 2 cents.
