Hey guys, a few updates. first of all I had to make my scene much much smaller in order to make sure i have enough time to complete a full scene. I changed up the materials a little bit and sculpted some rocks (yay!) Let me know what you guys think!
Another Update! I've redone the lighting and started playing around with decals also the outside is starting to get shape. I've also added a Sun in the scene to give the light a little direction from where its coming. Next up is finishing the outside and making some props to fill up the scene a little bit more!
Wow this is awesome! I think it would be awesome to see a night battle scene kinda thing. You could have moonlight shining in and fire's going on outside from the battle. You could also light some of the inside with some flickering lanterns. Just a suggestion and I think it could make this scenes lighting awesome!
Update At this point of the project, I'm now just doing a sort of 'spot the difference' between my scene, and the film screenshot. Need to create a few extra chairs, perhaps 3 more and a stool. Still got another 20-25 assets remaining on my list to complete and get in the scene, and to fix them horrid windows.
Haha this is so great, amazing diaromas, as a tiny suggestion maybe add a torch in the first scene to get a tiny bit of light? and on the second maybe a fading torch on the ground. I only suggest this because the scene is pretty dark even for darkest dungeon :p (though maybe my monitor is too dark ._, take what you will :)…
In a new scene load the model you exported into your baking software. Select all the objects at once (do this from a scene inspector panel so you are sure you have everthing) then check out the UV sheet for everything combined. You should see a big triangular shell that matches up with your error.
how fast is that scene in the movie? I remember seeing a still of a hangar bay scene in one of tyhe newer bond movies and it was awful. Coppied people in the background. Pilots looked like a crappy photoshop job. But, then you realize its only on screen for a second and no one would ever notice the shoddy work unless they…
Right then, got the whole scene into the UDK because i have no constant internet connection for cry-engine. here are some heavily WIP shots of the scene. At the moment most of the texturing is basic, ive mainly just been getting everything in place and to scale, the door is still to big and i shall be fixing that today.…
I like the style so far. I think a good idea would be to have a figure or small statue in each of the side supports - make them look like they are holding it up or something? What is the proper plan for your scene in UDK? Is this going to be just a single piece to show off, or is it going to be part of a larger scene?
eh``,My problem is that if you do not select anything in the scene, your Select Tool setup panel display on the right of the screen as the image above. And then if you select anything in the scene, the Select Tool setup panel change to Attribute editor of the asset that you just select, automatically. But mine not .It does not…
