Hi, Quick VFX question: Does the two different effects need to relate at all? Or the idea is just to create the two best particle effects we can think of. Thank you No. We we would like to see different motiffs.
I've been playing with ideas of a series of related couriers, "The Servitors of Maelrawn". Here's the first one of the little fellas: Any ideas how to improve this? It's based off the scotoplanes (sea pigs); carrier shell based off quahogs (hard clams).
what, those green marks on the boards? forgot to mention it, its a bug related to udk. cant figure the reason tho. when i screencapture it doesnt appear, but when im working on the viewport its there most of times... and this is a viewport screengrab :poly135:
First thing is just a basic thing ... his head is too small. Reference here: 7 or so heads is a good proportion for a male character. You can also see here where the arms and hands fall in relation to everything else.
Alrighty then [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Rbpnic84sI&feature=related[/ame] I could have sworn I'd heard some a couple of those quotes before, but I haven't actually ever seen this. Maybe I saw a preview.
Nice work so far man, it's looking really great. My only crit is that the biceps feel just a tad too short in relation to the forearms. However, that could be the bulk of the wristbands throwing me off. It would be worth measuring though.
Love the proportions om this figure. The details speak for themselves. The thighs seem to be a little thicker than what you normally see in relation to the arms, which adds loads of appeal to your interpretation of the concept. Will keep an eye on this one. Great work!
speaking of guys who did not place as high as they should, why the hell did team DBD (Balatituscurse) not even place top 15?! Did I miss something, was their entry disqualified for some reason I'm not aware of? picture very related:
I don't have any qualms about taking a backup job for a while (I was a professional pizza slinger for a span of time in 2008...). How is the gap in industry-related work going to look to employers when I start applying again?
I'm confused about how the 2D cars and guns relate to the above scene. I like the look of the scene, and it seems like it'd be more functional to design the scene, make a list of needed props/sprites, make those, and assemble the scene.
