I see. I was planning on maybe giving my player character the big textures and then giving smaller textures to enemies. Should I chop them down to maybe 1024? I hope I wouldn't have to refit things in Unwrap...
LOoking good! I would definitely flip the front attachemtn to the left side, so all those good bits are visible in FP, right now they are invisible to the player while gaming. And maybe increase the spec on the metal scratches in the orange receiver.
Sorry, missed the replies on here. acitone: We're on a heavily-modified Unreal3 build. Yuze: Yeah, that's pretty much spot on. There's a single rig, morphable base meshes (body types for player and clothing items), as well as PHAT bones where applicable.
Filled in survey. Forgot to mention that the only thing I didn't like was the text box. Too big and in your face although I played the web-player version. Personally like the speech bubble way of text like in Conker 64.
Custom textures are possible, but the players may have to pack them into UPK's first, then you'd need to create a system to load that custom texture into the proper material slot. Last I knew UDK didn't do on the fly external asset loading.
I demand an update! Leona and Diana have one of my favorite themes and just overall designs in the game. I think this will be worthy of remembrance; even more so for all the League players out there. Wouldnt be surprised if you won :D
I would do a). Edit: To add a bit more, I have actually already done it for the players weapons. Basicly had one capture actor attached just inforont of the character and used the cubemap in the weapon materials. Works rather well.
Hi snake 85027, Condened is one of the game's graphic references. I´m not sure yet, but possibly you cant fight in the game. At one point of the game the player carry a pistol with four bullets and you must make a drastic decision.
Sadly it's only single player dude, but otherwise you got it completly! The missile command elements have kinda gone away a bit and it's expanded into a larger game. Shark Soldiers, Vicious brutes that like nothing but to eat cat food and fight.
We did a lot of level design improvement from the last gameplay trailer as we listened to the suggestions from the community and people interested in the game. Now, at every corner of the player camera you can see a couple of landmark interests to explore.
