Nielsen, any idea how to prevent your SSS hack making leaves glow when you look at them when the sun/light is directly behind you. I'm no good at math, especially anything vector related :P -

I have a gtx970 that works really better for me under every circumstances. Thise super expensive cards are made for super precise calculateions and cad stuff. but hey a k4200 is a strong card, sure is not the best for games related CG. -

I thought ATI fixed their OpenGL issues some time last year? OpenCL will be nice when its stable, but I think for now the only art related GPGPU project that isnt using CUDA is the realtime Luxrender spinoff. -

To give you an idea, an asset from A to Z, depending on the asset and style, from one afternoon for a small object to a week for a hero object.. A few weeks (3-4) for an important building. But all that's env related, not sure you're aiming at that. -

so is there a way to buy a big stack of speed boons to use when you like? My warrior has pretty much no speed related abilities or traits, I can do a kinda lunge with my sword but thats all :/ -

You are doing pretty well . Just few area are that you might want to investigate a bit further : neck torso connection , frontal eminence and glabela planes and relations ,zygomatic bone/arch , nose bridge and overall form blending -

Looking good. I'm guessing the intention of the Lakos was to be very straight like that, but if not I think it could use a little boost in it's front silhouette, such as the back legs being further apart than the front, and the tentacle parts in relation to the rest of the body. -

Avoid "game" related trade schools. It is a waste of your money and your time. Though if you absolutely have to go, since you are up there in Canada, the Vancouver film school is probably the best thing you will find up there. www.vfs.com
