Working on a personal project for a desert village. In this post (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/B1vA19 ) I'm showing the vegetation part. Will be glad to see ur feedback Also check out the project page, where I post small breakdowns and tutorials.
Wow, man, it look awesome! I like the way tou light the scene, and models for houses and threes, they look whery nice. But there is something incomplete with vegetation. I think you lack of bushes, colorful flowers, stones or something like that.
ZacD: 5 fps is without the grass, I did removed all the vegetation to work smoothly. I did gain few fps after hiding the ocean mesh and some part of the landscape while working... got ~10 fps
Increidble work man! Lovin how well placed is everything, and the deatils on it... Would you mind throwing some numbers about the amount of asets you did create for it? Like vegetation, rock modules... Great, great work! Congratulations!
Oh it is like the Vegetation leaves? I have done those but wasn't sure it was also for the clothes , but will it be influenced so by wind speed? Also is possible to create a wind system in a level or I have to place manually fake wind sources?
[ QUOTE ] oh, but atkins is extreeeemely bad. I'm on a high-protein diet, but you gotta have carbs in some form, preferably veggies ! [/ QUOTE ] I don't quite see the difference , you're supposed to eat vegetables on atkins too.
[ QUOTE ] personally, i think more 3-dimensional marshland or rainforest themes would be interesting, where you have to stay above the ground, instead of on it, where dense vegetation would seriously hamper movement. [/ QUOTE ] Good idea.
Hi everyone, I feel like venting a bit :# So I have been unemployed for a bit more than a year now and after sending more applications than I can bear to count and a bunch of interviews I'm still in the same situation. I have tried to improve my portfolio over the years but I think I've reached a point where it's not going…
Hi, I recently made this for fun. Rendered in Unity, vegetation have only diffuse textures. All shaders I used and water are built in Unity. It's very low poly, meant for top-down/isometric view. Comments are welcome
