I personally like the color pallet of the new version better. To me, it looks more realistic and natural. The yellow fog type of mood in your old version kind of reminds me of a last-gen Fallout game or something. I think the new version's lighting fits the setting better, even though it's a bit melancholy.
I don't really get the mindset of "I want my sequel to be the same as the last one with just a few improvements". SSX3 is a great game but it exists and there graphics aren't so appallingly dated there unplayable making a remake quite justifiable EG fallout. Personally I'm quite excited to see this, looks like a lot of fun.
Quite a few PC games are off Steam for me. I've probably played. Worth: $2116.69 Games owned: 151 Games not played: 48 (32%) (thanks humblebundle) Hours spent: 1,332.0h Top 4 games: Dark Souls 433hrs Dota 2 292hrs Torchlight II 57.6 hrs Fallout: New Vegas 48hrs
This happens for me, after I imported the FBX files into 3ds Max 2013. It's giving me strange fallout shadows on my mesh. Right in that scene I converted it into other editable options, then it fixed the "...invalid normal" error. But now it render the texture black. Maybe it's just me, because I thought the polygon got…
Its out mate! I believe world wide as well. I liked the GoWIII demo on District 9, so can't wait for the third. Currently engrossed back into Fallout 3 right now though, and L4D2 currently still fills my multiplayer needs. Be interesting to get back into FF but not sure about JRPGS anymore.
Ya really inappropriate comment... I really enjoyed this teaser I definitely felt like I was in this universe. The environment is unified and well made, I can't wait to see more. It reminds me a lot of the fallout trailers that bethesda has put out over the last couple years. Keep up the great work!
I was never impressed with shots from Fallout. I am aware that there is some amazing art in the game, but Gamebryo looks terribly dated nowadays. Lack of environment shadows is killing it for me. I hope that Bethesda will finally drop it in the near future. One of my favourite Amiga titles: You were my favourite, Stoo ;_;
Yeah, when I was fighting through the hordes of rotting corpses in the sewer levels of Diablo II I wasn't exactly thinking "Man, I wish I could smell this." Nor was I thinking, when playing Fallout 3, what an entire world of people who had never bathed in their whole lives smelled like.
Something else I finished recently. This was a personal project that I did. Trying out some of the new tools in Zbrush4r2. Got my influence from the concept of the rail gun for Fallout, and modified it more for mountain climbing. Only the rope, and the detail on the trigger guard was made in max. The rest in Z. Painted and…
howdy folks! i started mocking up some kind of sheet metal cold war .308 battle rifle. i was going for something kind of half-way between a fal and an ar-180, my final goal is a fallout 4 mod if i can find an animator. any crits before i go ahead and start modelling this?
