thanks for the reply. For this game I was going to have a higher poly building and lower(just a box) for each type. Doing that for LOD. So would it be better to texture windows and things separate in that case? Because once at a distance the game would have to load all new textures. But maybe it would reload textures… -

I second this. I've used Nitrous for a while, and it gave me various issues... 1. Back polys showing s front 2. Viewport shading solution taking forever to reload 3. Even if I just went into a menu! I went back to Direct3D and found that it too has caught up and now has tone mapping, ambient occlusion, viewport shadows. -

I tried baking on both channels, and the first test I did got a bad result, then every bake after got the correct ones. I even reloaded the file to see what changed, and it's coming up correct from the first bake, now. Not sure what that's all about... I'll try and run the whole thing and see if it works correctly, or if… -

Is this package the one that gets created when you make a new udk file? Are the meshes that disappear from your package currently being used in your scene? I think UDK likes to dump stuff out of the package if you aren't using it...at least it seemed that way for me. Try placing the meshes in he scene and saving and see if… -

Yes, I wish a readme or some text over the menu page had been added to explain how to upgrade weapons on the demo, since it is a big feature. It's kinda shamefull that its not clear. =( PS- If your beeing outpowered by rockets/grenades, crouch down, and shoot them out of the air with your Bulldog, and get some burst shots… -

You can remove all the triangles around the bullets in the magazine. If you keep the bullets as they are ant then just make the holes black. It will not be noticeable in an reload animation and you will save a HUGE amount of triangles. I think the whole gun is to highres for a game to. Just course a "TF2"-gun CAN have 8000… -

BAKE the weights before you save. That's what you are missing. Saving the .env file within the Skin modifier only saves the size and position of the envelopes. If you hit the little bake icon (looks like an oven) with all verts selected, you can then reload them. When you load them again, remember to hit the Match by Name… -

@almighty_gir Thanks m8, but it was due to missing hard edges. From what I can tell you need to set 'hard edges' in xsi prior to exporting with actorX. The .ase (actorX) seem to simply ignore 'user normals'. I've tried exporting with .fbx and .dae, but im getting strange results. Also, udk doesnt seem to wanna… -

This would be easiest to do with fancier coding. With basic html, the page must be reloaded to change any content on it. This means that each image would need its own identical page. With javascript and AJAX you could swap out the image onClick and have the page stay the same. Do some googling, I bet someone's got… -
