If this file is totally hosed, you could try right-clicking on the file and going to "properties" in Windows Explorer, then flip over to the "Previous Versions" tab. If you have system restore enabled on your computer, there might be a backup listed there that you can restore from. I tend to work inside a Dropbox folder… -

I picked up the bamboo ipad stylus to try this very thing out. On the ipad with sketchbook pro and Procreate. My feeling is that it will be an expensive portable sketchbook.
