Looks awesome as it is, but it could use some optimization if you were ever to put it into a game, there are several edge loops that could be removed without altering the silhouette that would drastically reduce the poly count on this. I'm sorry if you're aware of this and was already planning on doing this, but anyway,…
Hey Ben, It's looking pretty good man. Just giving my two cents. These are the only two things that seems to be catching my eye. I'm wondering if it might just be the normal map for the screw. The thin line shape on the toggle switch seems to have a slight extrude going inside.
really nice:) Though I'd say that the model in the end (train turntable) doesn't belong in the demoreel... Keep it on your site somwhere if you want to display 3dmodelling-skills. Start and end the reel with best/nextbest animations (if you're looking for a job as animator) Just my two cents, /M
Hey, I don't think that is the most appealing cut out shape for her stomach. I would either cover her stomach (would look nicer) or go for a shape that works with the stomach muscles, maybe a more angular one. Thanks my two cents! Good luck with everything! :)
Hey! Looking good! Is it just me or the screenshots look blurry. If not... I think I am in need of glasses asap. You might to try some post effects to add more contrast and sharpness to it. Increasing the specular on the textures a little might make it look good. My 2 cents :)
It's looking really nice! And I like the colors too. :3 The release is fine, but my feedback would be that the whole animation is way too slow, especially for LoL. :) Imo, it should fall back on the ground, and spread, faster. ^^ But well, just my 2 cents, as some might say. :p
The high poly sculpt looks great! I love it. However, I find that your character is too wide. The side view makes him looks fit and athletic, while the front view makes him look bulky/muscular. Just my 2 cents! Terrific job nonetheless!
Added my 2 cents. Mainly making the kick more of a vertical attack (think Guile Sonic Kick) that would knock the opponent up and raise SM up. This way the punch down could be more impactful. Also, I'd set a cube in there as an opponent to keep the spatial relationship accurate.
I second this. I did the AI thing. They taught me the basics, I learned the rest on polycount. Looking back I really wish I did a traditional art school. AI will teach you the tools, but they won't really teach you to be an artist. Just my two cents.
Good update. As I was looking at your early images, I thought to suggest adding sharpness, curves and wear on the shell. Glad you did that. Just my two cents but I think maybe you should add stronger greens into your skins. Just my suggestion! Keep it up!
