Day 22 @Fortereal Yes aha, it was a bad idea to do it like that, and didn't work out great. I'll have to try again another time. Keep forgetting to post here. Here's how the bunny went this week put together and textured. https://vimeo.com/200553226 Also with texturing that portrait some roughness beautiful
Anybody know why the submission thread was closed an hour and a half early, at 10:22? I feel pretty terrible right now. According to the rules page, I still have over an hour. My final image has been posted in my WIP thread. Don't really know what else to do.
Hey Firefly this is looking great! The shadows are super crisp. I think some foliage will be a great addition. Im sure you have plenty of references but I found thishttp://www.cheatmasters.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/BioShockInfinite-2013-03-30-06-22-50-20-1024x576.jpg Keep it up!
Definitely be on time if you're using ticketmaster. The SF show sold out in 22 seconds. Luckily I was able to grab 4 for me and my friends. I really don't get how this shit is legal: http://www.stubhub.com/tool-tickets/tool-san-francisco-bill-graham-civic-auditorium-7-12-2010-961436/
22! You sir have improved so much that words can't even begin to describe what's happening in my pants. My only issue is with the spec methinks, the gun rooks prastic to me. But then again, I don't even look at guns alot so my critique is probably invalid. :( good f'ing work!
Cool, he's already past his goal and 22 days more to go. Guessing he'll crack $60K. He could set up a stretch goal for 80K and he'll upgrade models with Vitaly Bulgarov's black phoenix kits: http://vitalybulgarov.com/3d-kitbash/
Imported trained hands in the engine, just found our earlier Glock 22, although it still needs some work and I plan to alter the texture. Animation course are made in haste and there is still rule. PS I apologize for the poor sound in the video. http://youtu.be/cOi4oOJFuBY
www.cglearning.com is another great site for free that you can learn off without any hassle with money. I too side with Creation 22. Try this for a month and there is soo much you can learn in just one month (that is if you choose to stick with one modeling program)
Ditto what arsh said about LA. Was talking to a friend in Burbank. 111 there. Temp in Culver City at the same moment - 89. thats a 22 degree difference in as many miles. Still way too hot in my apt and my AC is a 40 year old POS.
I wouldn't worry. I have worked with people ranging from 22 to ~50 in the games industry so far in my first 2 places in the industry. I am currently 23 and working freelance from home after a year in a studio, but I have friends much older in the games industry. You're never too old! :D
