When I am trying to paint textures onto my landscape I cannot remove them via "CTRL-Shift-Left Mouse Key" Any idea why its doing this maybe I have the wrong keys?

I reduced the topology of the cockpit. I've left enough for curvature and silhouettes to stay intact. Increased the edges to the curved edges to make them smoother, as the silhouette revealed hard edges.

It's likely because you left it as quads. You need to make sure the triangulation never changes from when the normal map is baked. Only way to be sure is to triangulate the model before baking so that later on when importing it into other apps, they can't change the triangulation
