I like your Portfolio and i also like your Hero Weapon ^^ Maybe combine The Airbus into "one" work. Since its a Game Prop, you can just keep the VR Version and add there your high poly screenshots. Or?
Yes While I was at Hi-Rez we hired a Weapons Artist a year out of high school with 0 college experience. He had a great portfolio and a solid art test. He's been a great contribution to the team ever since.
For whatever reason I thought this weapon would be in a 3rd person shooter. If it was than it should be low. 3rd person games need to be lower because the engine is also rendering a character on screen. If It is going to be for an FPS than 10k is fine. - D. Carmine
You can buy pretty much any kind of firearm you can name (even a state that allows you to own nuclear weapons (but not use em obviously) but you can't buy a friggin' kinder egg legally. Ah, America.

Photo Reference Pack: WW1 Weapons Download on Artstation In this photo reference pack you will find many heavy guns from the First World War shot from different angles with their mechanism details. There are canons, machine guns, mortars and ammunition.
His weapon is feeling a bit jammed in there. It's too close to the edge! Also, his arms seem kinda short? When I get stuck and am not sure where to go, I like to flip the canvas horizontally and see if it still works.
Working on Mods for different games got me started. They're a blast and it's really cool being able to see your artwork work in a game environment almost instantly. What kind of modeling are you interested in? Environment? Props? Characters? Weapons?
