It will be like a mix of diablo and that old robot battle shows. The parts you see here, are the base body parts, on top of those you build your Cockpit, Engine, Reactor, Weapons, etc , all of which change the appearance.
both!....sorta. I was involved in building some of the physical, real world props for the film (mostly weapons) however, our process did involve a lot of CNC and 3d printing, so there are 3d models of large portions of the katana.
@Olli Spec is indeed something that needs some work! @Passerby Well I'm no expert in (fire)weapons, but there are some visual differences AN94 AK103 They're both russian though and also seems to fit the same customisable assets...
Thanks guys! shawnell3d - I did try a "dirty" version and didn't like it as much, but I think you're right, I just have to be more subtle about it Oniram - Yeah, I agree, the weapon is too thin
I did a few minimal changes to the face; brought the ears a little further back and up some, indented the section between the lower lip and jaw a bit more. Worked on a few weapon/armor ideas for this guy today.
It really depends on what you're making. Boats, Planes, some weapons, some kinds of terrain? They have their place but just like everything else they're a tool. Sometimes they're the best thing for a given job, sometimes they aren't.
TychoVII- We are not looking for artists right now :( Drew++- That thing took me about 5 days for the high poly including revisions made for the AD and lead. I took my sweat time on this because it was an in-game weapon...
maybe, in some places the j sounds like and h since the h is silent.... but i doubt it.... I think the weapon sucks, mostly because it's not interesting at all and looks poorly made... Maybe you should look at reference.
Hey everyone. Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, and I don't have my tablet on me so no texture work, modeled a few more tools/melee weapons though, name a pipe wrench, a shovel, and a handgun (M1911)
Linksys is my weapon of choice. Like sonic recommended, I used to have a WRT54G which worked great for several years... now I have an extended range Linksys router, it gives very good coverage and signal!
