So what would differentiate a tool developer and a script monkey? Since this is about portfolios, what would be a good example of well thought out tool, rather than a simple script?
I can't remember if it's supossed to work in the UV window but maybe the other zoom options work? Not a fix, but a workaround. ctrl+alt+ middle or right mouse and dragging zooms in the viewports for example.
Yeah, it varies on different locations. A quick search in my city in Artstation for example shows that there are a lot of great Character and Prop artists, but not many environment lighting or texture artists that stand out.
...and now to see your love set free you'll need a witches cabin key... Looks very good. And about scale. As Rick mentioned, for example the railing looks a bit inflated.
Mark: 1. No that was just an example story. I'm not posting looking for that ever again. 2. TL/DR... But its in the title. Probably took you longer to type a response than to get it. :) .
why can't they try something smaller but more diverse like Valve has been doing (maybe Valve isn't a particular good example since they can't count to 3 anyway).
The solution to the bug related to the 5.2 upgrade is to select the projection color node in each example graph and reset all of the parameters to the default value. You can then reassign each parameter as needed.
Thanks for the comments so far. Serp- I am using a fog actor and some color correction post processing. Here is an example of the scene with the fog and color correction turned off.
Also another offline way to do it is to use mental ray's mia_material. It's extremely powerful shader and I think I remember seeing an example for download from either mymentalray.com or mrmaterials.com
hm... Are there actually any HL2 model files we can import into XSI? The old Softimage webpage for EXP claimed that example models would be coming 'soon', but that was sometime back in March.
