Update: I fixed the lighting in the scene and made the diffuse on the blades bolder by adding the texture into the specular map as well as the diffuse. I also got some better screenshots that better show the specular maps. The marble was also given more of a red hue just to add a bit more color into the scene.
I use Github. You have to properly set up the excludes and it works great. Only real problem is if you have multiple people working in the same scene.. making changes. However we try to just keep our work separate and coordinate who makes changes in the main scene.
whats off to the right of that scene that we're not seeing? there's a glimpse of cylinder/vent going on in the top render ... also a shadow cast by an unseen fence or railing ... we demand answers! agreed with what others have said, this scene is particularly soulless ...especially considering it takes the hiddem stuff to…
im a bit confused, are tehre windows in the scene ? the lightning says so , but also says that there arent is a tad confusing .if that light cast on those tables etc is from windows and its a sunny day the area should be more lit since lightning bounces on everything keep going i like the scene.
Sometimes, it is only one or a couple of objects that are corrupting your scene. Trying mergining in the file, object by object. You might get lucky and be able to salvage most of the scene. Also, if you are in the habit of using "hold" then you can try loading Maxhold.bak or Maxhold.mx (may have to rename extension to…
I've been collecting source images for this kind of scene, this is great. I like that the buildings aren't all large and stacked, the afghanistan scenes ive seen are very boxed in and dense, but this captures the thrown together ramshackle areas very well. love the details, you should throw some hanging meat in there : )
This is one of the best films I have ever seen. The effects are outstanding. They nail every lighting condition, and seamlessly integrate the aliens into each of the scenes. Most movies I find myself looking around and analyzing how scenes were filmed, but with this, it had such believability I was totally drawn in and it…
I installed the GTX470, and tried loading a scene with over 200 millions triangles (baking stuff) and it couldn't handle it (very low fps) :( running on 260.99 drivers, anyone knows any solution? My 8800GT could handle that scene (not perfectly, but i think i was able to move stuff around) :(
That's looking really nice. I like how it's day time, but the baroness of it still gives and creepy feel to it. The atmospherics of the final render also make it look hot (as it should). I need to keep that advice by Zack for lighting my own scenes. That piece of advice improved your scene seven fold.
textured the pants, chest, sides, arms made a little beauty scene added a quick rig is it finished? Depending on the crits i get.. =/ 2100 triangles including swords. Oh btw the swords say: Wrath Spectre and Fiery Hell The scene Close up... A quick pose C&C Plz =)
