Thanks for the feedback! And I agree now, probably just going to keep the shorter goatee. :D And while normally I would agree with the angry eyebrow bit, the character/expression in this situation calls for droopy eyebrows. Thanks though! Here are some updates on the puppy! I did a couple of keyshot renders of him just…
'Jack Skellington' from The Nightmare Before Christmas. haven't seen that movie but I like Tim Burton's art. scene is referenced from movie poster and rendered in keyshot. don't know about stardust like things under the moon light maybe it's because of lack of light samples.. but I keep it. like those feelings!
It seems doubtful (in my opinion) that ZBrush would develop direct rendering, when there is already the Keyshot bridge. I read somewhere on the OTOY forums that Pixologic has an exclusive agreement with Luxion. Pixologic did showcase their Peel UV plugin which was going to be in ZBrush 2019, but was delayed for technical…
Zbrush and Keyshot almost don't need a GPU at all. So, it's probably worth focusing on the CPU for those. GPU matters a bit for Substance Designer and a lot for Substance Painter. Max likes Quadros but game engines don't. Do you use any game engines for rendering (like UE4?)
If dlss had similar benefits for production work as in gaming, then a 4090 would make sense. But prices are still whack. I can't believe that scalper pricing is still a thing...even on last gen cards. I just went from haswell to 12th gen, and for everyday busywork it's not a huge jump. Except when it comes to rendering…
Dropped it in to Keyshot quickly to see how the light works with the shapes Staying loose, having fun blocking in some more big shapes and paneling ideas. Haven't really touched the top part that much. Likely to keep the framing hidden behind the rubber "skin" and only exposing some of joints etc.
Hi @harryroy58 , Thanks so much for the kind compliment. I mostly used zbrush to block in the forms and did some retopology to recreate the hardsurface details. Brought it into keyshot and finished off by applying the materials. I recorded my process and if you click on the link you shoul dbe able to find it.
Cheers guys, sure I can a quick render tut thing at some point soon. It's in Keyshot btw. My ostrich jouster dude will take up another tab, and I have some work I need to present a bit nicer for another, so that should sort out the spacing :)
Hi guys, Here is "Cursed Nun" demon boss concept art. I made this in my spare time inspired by Dark Souls and Bloodborne games. I used zbrush for design and keyshot for render. Great experience for me. I hope for your feedback and support at artstation page. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/aRqe6L
Hello guys, this is my "redesigned" Green Ranger Fanart. Made with Zbrush, low poly with Maya, textured with Substance Painter and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag (but i used Keyshot for the Hires Sculpt.) Please give me critiques or feedbacks, it will help me a lot to make a better artwork in the future. Thank you very much…
