Me and my wife spent about 100 hours in PoE and we're not done yet! I've always admired art in the game. It looks realistic and yet it's very low poly when you zoom in. All spells feel chunky and have impact. Fantastic work. Also being a very niche F2P game without exploitative microtransactions is quite a feat.
killed that fucking guy 120 times now and still no mount...bastard kidding aside, maybe more contrast in the color map, really punch the spec up in a few selected areas and play a bit more with the hood i think, try and exaggerate the shapes a bit more. Really dig the overlapping details on the shoulders, thats some nice…
I'll be upgrading after the new year: Intel Core2Duo E6600 2.4ghz ASUS P5N32SLI SE Deluxe 2x 1GB Corsair XMS2 800mhz 2x 120 WD HDD Raid0 Thermaltake Toughpower 750w PSU Thermaltake Black Armor case 1x BFG 8800GTS OC2 320MB Windows Vista x64 Ultimate BenQ FP202W 16:10 monitor
I know you aimed for 500. I did that with the first one too, but Raul said something about "try to get very low in our tri budgets" so I went and made that was very lowpoly. My point was, with both these posts, that the detail levels are inconsistent. You have a very bland cylindrical part, which is fine if you're going…
Have a look at the 27" ASUS PB278Q IPS. I got one about 6 months ago and I love every bit of it. Planning to get a second one eventually. I paid $600 for it but that's only because I live in Australia and tech is more expensive here. I think I saw it at around $420 on Newegg.…
Blizzard has always been strict with their visual content, I don't think they'd allow people to make custom art assets for the game. They might allow people to make custom maps / game modes, though. I think that'd give them an advantage. I also think if it is not F2P it will hurt them severely. MOBAs lend themselves to…
The cam move during f193 is pretty distracting. By the time, the cam move had finished, I was left staring at the left side of the screen instead of the right side, where the characters are. The cam move during f250 isn't too bad. Though, I do lose some of the animation. It could work, though. Kind of like a handheld cam…
Thanks @ajramsey28 ! My knowledge of real time engines is too limited so answer precisely, but my guess would to trigger several instances of the character just during the animation. This is really good feedback @Rambo4you , thanks a lot. I definitely need more poses between f30 and 40 to show more power, it is not going…
Translation =P When you're in the editor, you can hit F10 to bring up the console, then type "tiledshot x y" eg. "tiledshot 2 128" will create a screenshot that's double the size of the actual resolution you're running the game at, with a 128 pixel border around it. How can you do that though, without having the editor…
Ive done one of the things I wanted to do already, I was born in sunny south africa but dreamed of going snowboarding, went snowboarding last year! :D This looks incredible, my flying dreams were more like the air turned thick and I swam up rather than I got jet engines and roared across the sky like an F22
