If they're coming from a single school, it would seem to be a simple enough task for one of our Chinese members to send them a polite note explaining that people would like their work to be credited. I can't see any particular reason why they wouldn't then pass this on to students. -
Re: Importance of Language Certificates? TOEIC, JLPT and such
Language certs are only somewhat important in countries where the studio language is usually not English, such as in China, Japan, etc. Maybe your Chinese / Japanese ain't good enough to write a resume in, but if you can talk to local staff it can be an advantage, depending on the job you're after. -

Since balance is important to both champs I thought of making this work represent that to both, composition-wise: I'm using the default skins with only minor tweaks in color and design, nothing too different. -

Yes Happy Thanksgiving to all polycounters. Now time to call up for some chinese food...heh heh. Can't stand turkey meat and I'll be spending my 4 day weekend alone and being semi productive, that is if Xbox 360 doesn't steal my soul. -

am there now. Is pretty rambo'd . What's the crack? Upstairs is take a ticket and wait. There's an empty chinese place across the road and a pub in spitting distance. Btw a fiver a beer here omg. The coffee is only £1.50 so I may just get caffeinated instead! -

No it's kind of the other way around now...the chinese, Indian and Canadian team got an 'ambassador' on their team (I think they were Abertay students) just to help them along really, with making the game and just living in Dundee/Europe in general. They were games artists of course. -

Filled in all greyblocks, woot! Also added some hanging wires and banners, and a skydome. I'm still missing alot of small debris, signs, roof bits, chinese lanterns, a car. But I got the core of the scene down and gonna start assembling my textures. -

begs the question, PC Shanghai meetup? Are there more than just 2 polycounters here? Shanghai just sucks for people outside China, because unless you're transiting you will need a Chinese visa. So probably not a great choice for inviting the wider Asia PC user base.
