the article seems sinister with a motive to devalue game developers. i read the article twice now and if you wanna TLDR the article then this should work: "you are lucky to be working in game dev = salary cuts and lower wage = more money for the CEO = corporate greed"
im dont usually do anything regarding exporting to game engines, i normally focus on modelling/texturing etc. TLDR whats the best way of arranging this object so it can be used in Unreal? seems like the way I did it is waste of time.
Hello! I've done a bit of 3D modeling among my work for school's multimedia programs and love to play games, especially the valve titles. I've been meaning to make a polycount account for a while now, and the Dota collab pushed me over the edge. TLDR; Not a bot :)
Thanks Sectaurs and euclidius. Yeah, Kingdom of Heaven is one of my favorite eyegasmic movies, it's sort of like Bladerunner of historical epics. Very smart as well. 3 hours of pure fascination. TLDR; One of the best movies ever.:)
Them lips are diesel, not a bad thing just saying also are you going for an Asian / African woman mix? Cause she sort of looks like one to me. :) Nice work, no critics just praise and questions. tldr.
Heres an image: You could go up to 16 sides if you really want to, but keep in mind how the asset will actually be viewed. Even at 16 sides with a more logical topology you would be using way less geometry than your model above. TLDR; less is more
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUzCn-ITJ_o TLDR: AMD gpus on par with Nvidia with ray tracing or dlss off. Not so much otherwise. AMD only seems worth it if you REALLY need more vram over anything else.
We have adressed this on our forum a while ago here: https://forum.allegorithmic.com/index.php/topic,16732.0.html TLDR: Merging texture sets won't happen in the foreseable future unfortunately because of technical challenges due to the current architecture of Substance painter
Thanks m4dcow! My graph looks much cleaner now! Ok, tldr version since this got deleted by mistake: * First substance * borrow from that awesome stone substance * colors are controlled by a dynamic gradient * can use a mask, a base texture, or a completely procedural starting input * being rendered in UE4
whats TLDR or should i JFGI? anyways, i think it deserves its own subforum so we don't have to sift through everything in one thread, that would be especially disastrous when its text instead of images. still pushing for the game music and game writing subforum, whos with me!
