I decided since i became a member of Polycount to post and show of my 3D characters i madeas well as new ones i will be making in the Future ! Starting by Captain America in my 3D style , i was first inspired by DISNEY INFINTY and then changed and adapted the style to my own !
right. i totally forgot about the disney deal. then again someone who is crazy enough to bastardize his own work after decades and thinking he's doing the right thing... gah star wars is such a mess. the only works that really added anything to the star wars universe for me were kotor i and ii because they're really…
Fuck Euro-Disney! Lets do graspop!!! Oh Well, wherever, wherever you are, \m/ Iron Maiden's gonna get you, no matter how far. \m/ Pea, how much does the 3day ticket usually cost?. Info isn't up on their site yet.
Talking with a colleague here, an animator, he looks for a solid understanding of the 12 Disney principles of animation, ability to get inside the character's head, ability to convey emotion and tell story (not just moving across the screen), focus on character work (don't show bouncing ball anims).
if you where heading for a plastic toy look than i'd say it's pretty realsitic and definitelly not toony like a disney movie i think it totally fits for that kind of game to get it more realtistic think it's more a question of proportions, shaders and lighting rather then just colors
As always your work looks great! Clean polys and the colors have a great pastel painted feel to them but its subtle. Great job overall I agree be great to see Lilo and Stitch in the scene but if not be great to see you tackle another Disney classic scene.
I cant speak for the rest since non of my current titles are marvel, but the Disney Channel did in fact do Marvel. Ultimate Spiderman, Avengers Assemble, Hulk and S.M.A.S.H. All watered down and sifted without the strife Marvel characters go through to a large degree.
Fun idea! Although if it wasn't for the Disney version at the corner I'm not sure if I would recognize the characters. Their missing some of their main visual ques like long hats and white beards. Look for the things that really makes the original characters recognizable and bring that essence to the new renders.
hehe. But actually there is one animation studio for 2D in the North, which made art for Disney. There is also a mobile games studio there run by a German dude. There may be more. Guy Delisle describes in his highly enjoyable comic "Pyongyang" how he worked with North Korean artists.
