I think a 1024 and two 512's (or 6 512 maps) is a little much for a 960 poly model. You could probably fit everything comfortably on a 1024. -

Same. I'm not that knowledgeable in how computers perform but I'm running an Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 with 16Gbs of RAM and It's using 100% of my CPU as well. -

So the Nvidia 960 GTX is launching next week, I would wait for that before making any purchases. It is rumored to be £200 , but could very well make prices of other cards drop. -

Afaik, the I7 sandybridge CPUs use dual channel, the older I7s, 960 etc used triple channel. But maybe this is dependent on the mobo? Yeah a quick google shows his mobo is dual channel.
