Ethoteric - That parakeet feather layer is makes my head spin! Like the way that bird nerd character sculpt is coming along. Would like to see this one finished.
This is really fantastic. How did you learn to paint the electronic stuff like that? And where can you get that brush!?! Its like an al.chemy brush but more controlled!
Character for a table-top like turn based game on pc. This is the high poly of one of the characters. Tried to get it to look like a mini-figurine. Rendered in mental-ray and this :)
Nice Eazy, Still seems like his head snap is off though. His body snaps into position like he is alerted, then his head snaps up like he was just alerted. If anything I'd say the head needs to snap up, recognize a threat then snap his body into position.
This is a good start but I can't help but feel like it's a bit flat. The hard surface areas look great. The gnoll itself feels like you've jumped into the tertiary details of the fur without really blocking out the base forms first. I notice this most in the head since the mouth feels like it goes straight across the…
Shogun Oh man, I really like that! My only crit would be that I don't like the ceiling texture. It looks like a drop ceiling from an office building. Something stylish up there would really set this off nicely... I might also suggest making the floor more of a solid color like a blue rug or something. It's a little busy…
Torch, looks cool but I would like to see the teeth deforming the jawline a little bit. Right now they just look like they're stuck on and not protruding from the jaw.
No it wasn't a waste of time partially because I'm gonna study what you did here :poly142: I like how you interpret the anatomy and I'm also going to study how you painted him. Maybe you think of it as a quick job, but I like that as an altogether coherent style that I would like to understand
@kurthectic I like your gun, but I definitely feel like it could use some more finesse, especially in terms of the texture. It seems like you put too much effort into modeling the gun to have it be let down by a quick texture job. @afisher That bust is amazing.. your work always inspires me.
