Wow, everyone's killin' it around here! This thread is so inspiring. itismario - awesomely creepy creature...sick sculpt. iCinstruct - wicked axe man! tactic math - lovin' your sketches... so much style and uniqueness! Calling the sculpt done for this trooper guy, excited to get painting and move on to retop.
Nice job on the animations. This one however, I feel is a bit too mechanical for a living creature. The way he goes back into the original state, it feels too much like a machine, turns his head back and then sort of bends back down. Broken into steps, I feel like it should be more fluid :).
here's a monster i'm working on, hands and feet need lots of work. he has no jaw and scoops up creatures with his hands and uses them like a lower jaw. i'll be starting a thread for him and his friends soon. for now, there are some other pics and info here. http://ericspitler.blogspot.com/2012/11/willy-wonka-monsters.html
@Fingus - awesome details :) I dont normally pose any of the stuff I do, so I tried to put a scene together of a speed sculpted creature. I tried to approach it like a gesture drawing, so the anatomy is a bit all over the place - loads to learn ;) [vv]41607659[/vv] Speedsculpt is in my [thread=97918]sketchbook[/thread].
been a while since i had time to doodle in zb! Spent a few hours sculpting and rendering/compositing this creature bust.. Twas supposed to be orcish til i went for a more flesh toned skin. Done in ZB 4 and Photoshop. :) *update* Also did a One Piece fan art-- Roronoa Zoro from the strong world ova. :)
cheers guys! I'm working on fixing dem alphas :) @gauss - you're totally right about my workflow, I tend to pay attention to small stuff instead of the bigger picture. For my next character I'll stop zooming in so far and worrying about tiny stuffs. Thanks for the advice man! @fingus - I like that creature! awesome…
Pope Adam- Very cool, makes me want to play unreal tournament and frag some fools in it though for some reason haha. Mrandk- The texturing is quite solid on this guy, *thumbs up* Arthur- Moar zombies please! Tacit math- That creature is great! G2000- That is great, I agree the proportion is a little off but I love the…
STRIKER: Nice organic shapes, I wonder what special abilities the weapon has if any? Tits: Liking the folds and fine details on the fabric of the female model. How long did it take you to make them? awesome welles: The speed sculpted creature looks as spooky as the one in the drawing, good job on echoing the feel of the…
really random rpg game stuff I started, some basic standard races, some environments.. maybe should have made those pics bigger and some really simple creatures for now, didnt spend too much time on any of these but it sure is a lot of fun to create worlds like this for about a year ago I actually made a book with simular…
Wow Kyle, that door has an awesome style to it! Was WoW's Mists of Pandaria an inspiration by any chance? Looks like it could fit right into the game. As for me, I created a flying frog creature for a student game I'm working on. I modelled, textured, rigged it (oh the horror) and have been animating it, here's what I have…
