So its finally time to stop lurking =] Gandalf Bust WIP with rough paintover to show where i want to take it - working from a bash mesh from zbrushcentral. Crits please! be gentle!
Really great peaces of art here! I'm doing a small bust in flat / hand paint textures to warm up for the DW . I'll just make shoulder pads and a sort of pedestal under with that. (feedback welcome :] ).
lots of cool stuff here! here's something i started recently, inspired by slipgate and firstkeepers busts. still lots more to do, especially the contrast issues. but its been very fun so far :)
Hey guys, Here's a sculpt I did for the Blizzcon Charity Auction. This thing's going to be 3d printed and presented to the highest bidder: You can check it out a turnaround movie of the bust on my blog. Cheers, Nick.
Fuse - Thats one badass superman, great work! Only crit, is the back of the skull looks a little flat perhaps / lacking volume? Dan - Sweet bust, eyes are a little far apart maybe, other than that - cool!
Yeah I always notice things like this right after I post it. Damn it, heh :(. Will do a bit more work on it, then I'm gonna model the bust. edit: did a bit more, fixed the neck, nose and eyes:
I've been lurking on polycount for roughly a decade now. Decided it was finally time to make an account and participate. I recently started teaching myself how to use zbrush. Here's the bust I've been sculpting as I learn.
Mladen Jovicic: Looks awesome. How did you render it? Here is a conan bust I've started yesterday. Going to add some more details and stuff. Having some major problem sculpting the hair... any tips?
Its the Age of the Head Bust around here lately! I dig :) here's my contribution. recognizable? or did I just waste the last several hours of my life :\ I'll update this in a few. Good work everyone!
Cool stuff people! really like the busts by Josh and the leafblower guys by Nick on the previous page, really digging the art styles. Nizza, really digging the turtle, can't wait to see how it will look when its complete. :)
