Yea your dangerously close to being added to ignore. I'm not a fan your attitude either. I was actually trying to be funny and give you a friendly poke, but if you want to paint me as a dick then I'm happy to switch gears the next time we meet. Well... just because the engine you worked with was chugging at 7,000 tris…
I did a quickie paint over. I think you went too extreme with the highlights and shadows, as a result it has a lot of hills and valleys. You want to paint it more like you would a sphere, but what you've got is a bit more like corrugated metal. Also try to imagine an overall light source and keep in mind that light…
I think it would be a good idea to model in a *bit* more detail. you want him to have strong cheek bones, but currently the face is almost completely flat, which isnt helping your texture at all. Secondly, you should look at some more reference when painting your shadows and highlights. yours look... off.
The arms look too long but when I bring them down by his sides they are just right, but you're right they're probably too fat. I'm not sure what you mean by the shoulders are too narrow though. Does that mean they should be further appart? Larger? Arms are looking better, shoulders too. Did you mean like this?
Heya, One very, very important thing to remember when doing lowpoly stuff is that you can always edit the UVs while working on the texture. Especially at such low polycounts, its crucial. If a circle on your texture looks way stretched on the model, edit the UVs, not the texture. If for some reason you are working from…
Heh, the comparison image is funnily correct. I made you a quick paintover. It's not the best, but it's late! I think you ought to be more conscious about the shapes that you want to capture and how they respond to lighting. The most obvious example of this is the the lips. The upper and lower lip are about equally bright,…
The contrast in your hair is pretty extreme (and the skin too, actually). Consider the global direction of the light and try to get the top of the head to be a little lighter than the bottom. You want to think of the bigger shape first (roughly spherical) and make sure that reads clearly without things like highlights and…
quick 5sec paintover You have all theses line going up and down, its freaky, doesnt make much sense..Fold follow your body and gravity... Try and blend your.. paint?. together.. Why the seems right there? its the worse place. Strange.. Im not too sure why you are going with grayscale Tbh. But hey,. at this point.. GOodluck
