My final project for my Environments class. Its basically a floating castle to the Japanese thunder god Raijin. I still need to add some lightning and then render!
Jesse: Might just be me but I think that adding in a groove for the slide barrel to slide on would add to this. A rail, a groove, a little bit of awesome... take your pick :)
I love this character, I think it's fabulous. BUT, the stitches don't fit the game. Compared to the rest of the TF2 universe, those stitches add far too much detail.
Thanks, thats neat! I stumbled upon one on creativecow.net which was pretty helpfull, too... I think there are one or two things i'll add to my composition!
I'd just add details where there isn't enough model detail to put the shader to work. Other lighting information could still be there, just make it very subtle.
More work on this Mostly done with the lower body, just need to finish up the back and figure out what I'm going to do with the forearms then add the teeth/hooves.
Hey man great lighting, and material/color theme ! But the blade texture really looks off to me - not only is it too clean, the motion blur doesn't make sense ... try to add brighter color pass where the blades are and scratches to indicate sharpening etc ... Then add dents here and there (just use heightmap->normalmap…
