A bit more modeling done... Using a lot of instancing for now, drain pipes is just one 2m segment that is copied and rotated, same thing with windows and doors (2 versions, scalled, rotated and copied around).
Thanks, Nothing too spectacular, just using 2 repeating rock textures with vertex blending. I'll see about documenting the process a little more in my sketchbook once I get a look I'm happy with.
My Son... Take my advice and learn 2 Practice hard. You dont need my advice to tell you what it really needs to look like. heh. I make no sense.. Well Whatever...
Here is a little something i just start 2 days ago, havent been working alot on it, plan on finishing it next week some time. C&C is always welcome, always trying to improve !!! lol
Today I got 'er in Unreal and got the blends setup and working. Still lots to do: * More overgrowth* Creeping upward and over marble trim, hiding some of its noticeable tiling * Center piece* Possibly a bonzai tree * Create highpoly detail mesh of the mound the platform rests on and see if the details are noticeable*…
Started work on my high poly car model for my school assignment, been working on it for about 2 hours now, it's a jaguar e-type coupe and the hood is a bit harder than expected. c&c appreciated!
also maybe try using that one with the really obvious repeating detail not quite so much... i mean the wall itself looks good, but that one brick with the 2 dents in it can't hide even rotated 180 degrees... :)
thats really cool. Looks like a steampunk combine soldier from half life 2. Now make gordon! :D could really push the steampunk theme with the beating stick, but u probably werent going for that haha
i wanna saaaay... make the neck shorter, along with her arms, and upper body. neck by about 2/3. and upper body/arms by about 1/3. good stuff though scoob :) i like the face!
10-15 minutes? Hmm, I think you could do it in about 2 minutes in Max... What is it about modelling that which takes so long? edit: my bad, just tried it, actually took 5 minutes
