Started out as a speedsculpt / anatomy practice of a generic face, decided to take it a bit further and attempt a likeness study of one of my favorite actors :
thank you flatHead! i think it was one of "undoz practical set" the matcap called cavity check but i tweaked the material a little bit for that picture
That's how you learn whats_true, doing studies like that. I like it even if it is lumpy and impressionistic, plus practically nobody ever sculpts animals, so huzzah.
For some reason I put the wrong image there, so here is a different one. 90 minutes earlier in the year and some practice rendering stuff out in keyshot and comping.
Practicing my anatomy low poly. might do a bunch of these as a morning warm up for the enxt week. Some funky geo here and there but it was rushed. EDIT: spent another hour on it.
gaganjain: Thanks! And no. :) I have another dude lined up that sort of looks like him though, but I'll start from scratch on that one. You know, practice 'n stuff.
Haven't sculpted for a while now. Here's a copy of a male bust found on google images. I liked the proportions and pose. Just some practice. 3 hrs in Sculptris Alpha 6.
last night for practice of not modeling anything for so long i've modeled a random female manga figure it's terrible it has bad hands and topology don't look at this byproduct of a bored 3 hours
