EDIT: Just going to ammend my post to avoid doubleposting, the dino is the most recent work. Spent 2 hours on this from a sphere. Not sure if 3 hours counts as speed-modelling but it was quick for me.
First attempt at 3d head sculpting (I've done some rocks and shapes but that's it). I guess I've spent about 2-3hrs on this fish/man hybrid; started from the default head in mudbox.
@ ENODMI: Awesome sculpt! A freestyle from me. I have not done too many animals so thought I would crack out a birdy. about 2 hrs but a lot of that was spent placing the feathers.
Just playing round with some of zbrushs tools. Zbrush 4rb comes with a great hair fiber mesh tool but as I was using an older version I've just really simply used zspheres. Took 2 hours to complete.
Been an age since I have even touched a 3d app, so decided to start with some sculping practice seeing as its always been a weak area for me. About 2 hours tinkering with the Zbrush default male head.
toolin around at work waiting for a RAID drive to repair itself...maybe 2 hours? Marv from sin city, may add hair and bandages later who knows... Ferg: great style id love that guy as Don Quixote -Woog
Loving this thread. It's become a habit to look here every morning to get inspiration (as well as the "what have you been working on" thread). Such great work guys. Just a bit of anatomy study from me today. Done in about 2-3 hours (while chatting to friends).
keeping the thread alive. EDIT: ok so i cheated and unwrapped him. Here is a texture WIP. i'm now looking for some specular tutorials, 'cause i never made a specular map before ;). crits welcome! even though it's a 2 hour doodle or so. (maybe a little more)
Some Sweet pieces of work on this thread. Thought I'd post a few of my speed sculpts up. They fit the bill of work started without any hope of finishing it! Bit of a cheek as I have already posted these up on my Sketchbook thread.:poly139: Perhaps not speedy enough at 2 hours each, but I hope to get faster!
