Here are a couple of pics from my trip to Alaska taken with my old canon in panoramic mode. Pardon the h*w ratio. I went hog wild on some of them and they got really wide! Coastal Shot Glacier Bay
Have I posted this before? its old so maybe, sorry if I have. Much love. Just had another trip to amsterdam with my new ae-1 and ektar loaded so excited to see how they come out
Here is a picture I took of Susie Castillo (old TRL host, and now she is working on Tyler Perry's house of payne (she is also my brothers wife)) So yeah, at Craine's Beach in Ipswich MA. Also, her dog Lupe is there.
I wasn't in Norway, but I was pretty close. I did a trip to Stockholm Sweden this past August. It was a really great experience. Stockholm is a really nice city. And a poorly compressed panorama of the water front in Stockholm. These were all shot with my d90. I also did some shooting with my Grandpa's old Yashica FRII -…
Yeah, I was testing a 85mm prime lenses, and this old lady was walking by and I tried to get a snap of it. Wasn't perfect as she should have been a little bit to the right to be right (rule of thirds); but still came out alright, good for a laugh, ahah.
Excellent shot rube, I love the swirly bokeh you can get from old lenses. Is the crown graphic your first 4x5 system? How do you like that format? Also what method do you use for processing the film sheets?
I was flipping through some old photobooks today and came past this photo my parents took around 10 years ago. The photo was so funky and inspireing that i just had to give him its spot. (ill replace it with a propper scanned version in a bit)
Fantastic variety of stuff in here - and a good idea too... This is from a series taken with my phone camera yesterday. We visited an old village which has had a forestry plantation grow up around it. It's a good half-hours walk from the nearest dirt track.
Thanks Ben. The dynamic range is really big man I am supper surprised. I also sometimes wish i had a small camera to bring with me everywhere but for now I think I am going to keep playing with my big old 5D :)
Poop, have you ever tried to make a camera? Like a Brownie knock off? Give it a shot and get the images drum-scanned. Just need to convert the bathroom into a darkroom from time to time. I used an old L lens and a metal project box for the body.
