Yeah, hard round brushes, but pressure sensitivity is linked to the opacity, so if i press harder with my stylus, the stroke is more solid. Are you using a graphics tablet, or just a mouse?
Been messing with a new base head the last week. Rendered out in 3dsmax 8 normal mapped version shown here with a meshsmooth slapped on the base head to lose the hard edges

xenobond: thanks man, Ive found It hard get those defined corners and edges without baking from HP models, so its basicly made up of lots of unique peices.
