Hey everyone! I'm working on an Elven bracelet, inspired by a 2D art piece I will of course link to when the piece is done. I'd never done jewelry before and it's super hard for me, but I've learned a ton already!
Wow! Some really awesome work in this forum you guys! I'm quite new to hard surface so starting simple. Been working on this Tactical Knife, but still needs lettering and texture. (Comments and critique are always welcome)
Inspiring stuff as always. I really ought to be more active on Polycount... Anyway! Instead of attending this year's GGJ, I'm making a Nintendo DS! First time really doing Hard-surface stuff like this. It's pretty fun!
It's the rare book library at Yale, designed by SOM. Pretty cool building, feels like such a crazy amount of money went into it. The library volume feels wider and the stairs thinner in photos but it's hard to tell because they all use crazy lenses.
After days of hard work I've finally finished my depiction of Gluttony! Took about a week to finish, with a week's break to Tokyo in the middle. My first proper fully completed character. Blender, ZBrush, XNormal, Quixel Suite 2.0
been working on a substance that automagically creates subdermis and transmissive values based on input colours. both these skins were generated procedurally just by tweaking sliders. currently working on an easy way to make darker skin more accurately (sciencing this shit hard).
Doing a Noctis Caelum fan art from FF XV. For now in a very early stage, with some ugly and low res temporary textures. And the hair, oh boy, sooo hard, so only a placeholder at the moment of rough imm planes from zbrush, instead of leaving it bald :D
A Rey bust I've been working on for a while now that I'm calling done! Likeness is hard...nuff said! Also got to use the texturingXYZ maps for some pore detail...very nice hires maps. I have more images on my artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/vE94E
I'm not much of a 2d artist, but this is my concept. http://polycount.com/discussion/167506/cyber-wizard-character-project#latest I've got the hard surface stuff done. Now moving on to the anatomy sculpting, then the clothes will be done in Marvelous Designer. I'm hoping to try out Substance Designer at the texturing phase.
