Duncan that is looking very nice! Testing Unity 5 with my old scene. I really like what they did with the new lighting system. [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l40BKM6qTyc[/ame]
Finished this treehouse scene. Made with Maya and Photoshop, rendered in Unity. C&C are always welcome! If you want to see more pictures check out my Artstation. Keep up the amazing work guys!
Awesome stuff guys! Here is what I'm working on. Still have texture refinements to do. Once completed I plan to put this food pack up on the Unity asset store to make some extra money.
I've been working on a track piece for a kart racer I've been working on, this is in Unity and has a moving LED shader for the LED displays. Normal map was made manually by baking the details seperately as floaters and compiling them in the final texture.
Hello. I'm new to the forum, but love what I've seen so far. This is the first stage of a WIP for a scene I'm building in Unity. It's my first attempt at using 3ds Max. The building is inspired by Santa Margherita in Vernazza, Italy.
Just the beginnings of a portfolio piece. Still have a long way to go. Done in Unity, all the lights and doors move, and I plan to make it a fun little walking simulator prototype where you piece a story together based on objects found in the room.
x-posting the Unity PBR charts I made a while back, which have just made their way into the wild. Hopefully they're helpful to someone! Link to high-res png and pdf versions here: https://oc.unity3d.com/public.php?service=files&t=dfc9aa1491ff905f589408aa136eab23
Marco: Love those designs, and beautiful renders too! zep: Amazing material definition! Here's what I've been spending my time on lately, together with the other awesome people in the studio. It's all in-game shots rendered in Unity. There's some more screens at: http://www.friendandfoegames.com/vane
Working on custom shaders and rendering in unity to make 3d objects render like classic pixel art. Some success so far! The web build is here: http://www.hedfiles.net/PixelShader/PixelShader.html I'm going to put together a tutorial and release the source when it's closer to done-ish. Enjoy!
I'm working on some concrete in Unity 5 and wanted to get some feedback - I'm trying to get a PBR setup and am currently using the standard shader with normals and spec, with the roughness map inverted(to make it a smooth/gloss map) put into the alpha channel of the spec map.
