Great work! Everything looks nice and clean, if you were to ever re-touch the textures, I would suggest adding some accumulative dust/grime along the underside of the Box and Receiver from being shot on a bipod so often. Either way, looks functional, what else would you need in an lmg anyways:thumbup:
xnormal has been kicking my ass this time around.... way to many weird problems i've never had or seen before while using it... nearly ready to jump back into baking in max or find something else!!!! :poly127::poly127::poly127::poly127::poly127: edit: also dont ask about the magic ora behind her... jpeg…
Took that work in progress shot I posted a few days ago or so, and refined it into a final run cycle: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8t6ykscTHMo"]Goon Run Cycle - YouTube[/ame] I intend to go back and refine the dive roll and everything else as well, but it looks like my attention needs to be on actual assignments…
drinkmilk: glad someone did It, I always wanted to make him never got around to it. daphz: can't wait to see more of this guy. mafubas: Awesome characters, I really like them though that image is a bit small. :) that knight is looking really good. Awesome work everyone else too many good pieces to comment on I'd be here…
Looking good. I think what sticks out th most though is that the sleaves have less detail than everything else. Maybe you could add some wrinkles. Altough I realise you may be planning to do this as it is a WIP. Great work with the pants. I think you can work on the shirt a bit more though to bring it up to that level.…
@NyneDown, workflows nothing special, just sculpt in zbrush ( depending on how spare time I have this could take me a week, I also try to do as much as possible in zbrush to save time jumping program to program) , retopo in zbrush and topogun. Uvmap in 3dsmax, then bake in xnormal and finally texture in PS. Not really good…
Nice progress, the head feels a bit narrow from the front though. Normally I see batman as portrayed with a wider jaw i think, unless this is a younger/youthful bats, in which case never mind. :) Worked on this some more today (all day) in the hnagout, need some final texture changes here and there and a pose for his face…
Ysalex : loving that chick man that technique you used for the shoes is great. anyway here is the update on the chick after all the feedback i received from a bunch of places, basically i reduced the breast size a bit and changed the tank top for looser shirt and added some accessories, not sure if i should add anything…
Here is a work in progress antique Diver's Knife I'm making. Any tips on getting the material definition to be better? Struggling a bit here. This is one of my first proper models in that I'm spending loads of time with the spec and gloss maps, in addition to the diffuse and normals. Learning SO MUCH. Still have to do a…
@dustinbrown Very unique character, love it so far! Are you going to give him wings? or are funky moth patterns going to be on his jacket instead? @Twoflower I love the concept! Everything else is looking great too! It feels like the bar is being raised every time I come on this thread. X-post from my texture practice…
