My contribution to the CreatureBox art jam. I whipped this guy up last night and did a quick polypaint today. Based on this concept. I couldn't resist, I've been looking for the CreatureBox theme!
Watched some game of thrones this week so decided to go back and rework this guy. Not really sure what I want to do with the hair. here's some screengrabs. was tinkering around with some polypaint.
Nice work af3d :) Little polypaint study: I think I'm still too subtle. I also made a turntable but the compression destroy all the details... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ha3QCzCApL0
Awesome stuff for the new year folks :) Duncan: maybe there's a little camera distortion going on but your render looks a bit wide compared to the ref. between work and my Superman model I did a quick polypaint on this guy:

Another cross-posted polypaint. 'Not at all looking forward to retop, but I can't wait to bake these so-and-so's... Guedin: thanks a lot. Now I can't think of anything but how Col. O'Neil would deliver that speech in Glory.
Good stuff, usually if anything is looking flat, its the lighting and materials, so i'll tweak that today to add depth. polypainting depth isnt too hard but ive already gone off that stage and might as well do it on the texture in PS. thanks!
Alien sketch that I had been working on, I'm gonna be polypainting It just havent really messed with it at all. Anyway as always great art on here by everyone. The concept I worked off of Was done by a great concept artist named Fernando Acosta
Today I decided to sculpt my Asura character from Guild Wars 2, I still want to add some details and finish the polypainting and change a bit the expression since he's a little bastard XD, wip till now :3
