Motoko Kusanagi work in progress pose. I've still got a lot of work left to do on the sculpt. I'm hoping I'll eventually be able to get a 3d print done of this model.
Amazing work guys! It's my buddies birthday in a few weeks and I modeled these guitar picks for him. Gonna 3d-print them with Shapeways in either steel or plastic. Not sure yet.
I'm gonna agree, I would love to have that as a 3D print :) Trying out some things/working on my highpoly presentation so that that doesn't change from piece to piece anymore.
nice arno.. will you print it out? :) was lookign at my portfolio, have some gaping holes in it.. saw one piece that was looking shoddy so spent a little time tidying it up and updating its texture.
JordanW: That's awesome! I need to get me one of those. I'd definitely be curious to see how more of your prints turn out. Cross-post from my thread again, update on this guy:
awesome work guys SuperOstrich: Cool man, wish i had one of those makerbots. my appartments would be flooded with 3d prints :D my artjam entry for this week based on a concept by Paul Richards
I finally printed a larger version of Aleysha on Shapeways. The details came out much better at this size... but they are still a bit rough... and now I see that I SHOULD SMOOTH OUT THE PLINTH MORE! :/ [SKETCHFAB]cSVBHJhtLLj1oWaFb4DSoAICmTL[/SKETCHFAB]
Modeled this little guy in maya which was then made into chocolate using a 3d printer: Please check out the indigogo page! http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/invention-to-mold-chocolate-using-3d-scan-and-print-technology/x/4792909
Not really game art related but, I just received a Makerbot Replicator 2 and this is my first print of my art. Only 3cm tall and a third of the res so I can go a lot higher with detail and scale :)
