Really nice stuff, i'm also working on a Guerrilla concept atm! (the turret one haha), you've done a very good job on this one! Could you show the normal map without the UV Snapshot screened on top? Cheers!
I think this is a feature to compensate for viewing angle. This is not a feature - this is probably just the Cintiq product line having its usual alignement issues near the edges of the screen. You'll have to get into the habit of not hoping to get good accuracy in this area.
Here is a new screen of the added dirt and reduced edgewear. I only had very little time today so I only modified the wheels section, it needs more work but how do you see it so far?
You should definitely try the same lighting as the concept, it's really nice. And look at how the light is used in the scene : the background is way lighter than the foreground, it gives a lot of depth which lacks in your screens : Nice scene by the way ^^.
Well ... don't get it. You mean this? (Screen) It seams to be more complicated on first try than I thought, in dDo everything was clear for me at the begining. Why changing something, that was great before? I don't really get it at all :/
If you disable the Dynamic button above the Draw Size slider, the cursor reverts to a screen-space size rather than a size relative to how close you are to the surface of your model (sort of like how Photoshop's brushes behave).
Blur the reflection of the table enough that was don't see the limitations of screen space reflections. The site on the front could use some wear where it connects to the body, rotating it would cause some scratches and grease build up over time.
Cheers Zac! I've been annoyed by all those tablet 'features' for ages (on screen keyboard etc) but I've never got round to actually switching them off, this problem however, is definitely reason to get it sorted. Thanks again.
Woo :D I'm back and with an actual project! what i'm trying to accomplish here is to texture and render a western themed still life. Currently I've got the modeling finished and unwrapping done. I plan to post some screens
I have tried this as well but as far as I could tell I was only able to multiply a hatching texture over my high contrast material during post-proc which made the texture move with the screen and not look good.
