Can you please make the image more dark and with a lower resolution? I still see to0 much :) No, seriously, i miss every information here at the moment to be really able to judge. The image is too dark and too small, the texture resolution is unknown, the mapping is unknown. From what i can see here i could give you the…
Thanks for the feedback! This scene did teach me a lot and was the first time I had done lighting extensively. In the past I had more so just used lighting for lighting a single prop. I'm happy with the scene overall but That is a area I'm trying to improve on and hopefully it will show here soon! :)
Thanks yall! The gym and classroom were team projects, it was so awesome getting to help push something that wasn't constrained by client budgets. Glad you all enjoyed it, keep an eye out for more scenes like these in the future! :) @snake85027 the scenes were both built in Unreal, it's our engine of choice
yeah the water is UDK own shader right now and reacts a bit funky with the scenes fog I might have screwed something up. I will build my own watershader when I have done more work on the scene. thanks for the good feedback!:) I will look into it during the week.
I am loving ur shapes. Really nice. I hope the scene doesnt look too dark when u put it in ur scene. Its allready difficult to differentiate between te dark blue and the dark grey. Try brining out the dif in the spec, or add a gloss map.
Weapon looks really good! But why you made a cuirass? :O By the way, can you explain how to import the character with gear inside the test scene? I can gear my character inside animation editor, but cant do anything in the main scene. Any manuals will help! Thanks!
Your props look wonderful! I really like this scene, although I prefer the more moody foggy atmosphere of the first few shots. They just seem more Alan Wake and lonely to me, and would suit a deserted scene better in my opinion. Keep up the sexy work! *Subdividiscribed*
Haha yeah, circular shapes can get a little bit tricky sometimes :) Glad I could help! :D Meanwhile, here are some printscreens from Unreal 4, with my modules in the scene. Filipe is still working on the walls, so the scene still looks too empty without them.
It was challenge # 8 from 3dRender.com http://www.3drender.com/challenges/hauntedhallway/index.htm Did all the textures myself, then lit the scene to my specified mood. It's just some practice of lighting scenes, and learning more about about Final Gathering, Ambient Occlusion, Mental Ray's Features. Texturing as well
Uploaded with ImageShack.us yoo so im still working on the scene, doing lots of sculpting, and i needed a break from it so i did this. I know its still just cubes but i saw a ref for it and it looked so cool so i had to do it, will make a scene for it eventually
