You could attach your world space widget to the camera though. But I think you would get it motion blurred, unless there is something else behind it attached to the player/camera. Not sure.
Hi, here's a fun one: The Grid It's sort of a text-based web browser strategy game kinda like a multi-player Risk, only better because you have more options.
I think such a tri count would be just fine (if not a little low) depending on the scale relative to a player model (assuming this is not the main character model), for example If this was the size of a colossi from Shadow of the Colossus.

Some progress for today. From the gameplay perspective, the hallway is a checkpoint where the player will be able to save / refill on supplies before heading into the quarantine zone, this explains some of the current / future design choices
The trailers and footage for FEAR really impressed me, however playin that multiplayer beta I was left unimpressed, I certainly won't be playing it online but I'm still rather intrigued with the single player.
Dead Space and Mirror's Edge are short linear single player experiences with no multiplayer. The rest allow for a much longer bang for your buck, but it really boils down to what type of gamer you are.
First game was Red Baron. The old dial-up at 2400bps. My god. But TRUE deathmatch was Quake1 in a 3D lab with 32 players. I also refused to play with a mouse. Keyboard only.
9 out of 10 polycounters pirate or have pirated 9 out of 10 demigod players are pirates Yet everyone gets all mad about the latter while making excuses for the former
man, your texturing has gotten really good. Nice follow through of the level, the main pipe going through gives it coherency so the player is less likely to get turned around.
