So after I got back from E3 I decided the best way to continue enjoying my vacation was to work on my orc. :D I started a rough concept for the armor and took a stab at the design of his weapon. -

So slowly moving ahead with this :) Tweaked a lot of things and polished the body. Also had to retopologize the hands and torso so I dont have to go to crazy subdivisions. Started on one of the weapons. Here is where I am at now : -

@littleclaude Hey Neil! How are you? It's been ages, we should catch up soon :) Thank you so much. The maximum tris budget was 3500 including the weapon and mine comes around in at 3167. The texture budget was 512 :) -

Thanks for the comments all, yeah a Kukri is Nepalese blade, like the Machete it is used as a weapon as well as a tool. references were just what I found on google :) You're right about the handle toronto, I've made it a bit shorter -

Reading over those links you gave me and all 3 have to do with normal maps, something I'm not planning on doing with this model quite yet. Were you trying to suggest I use them in the weapon here? -

I think you hit the style pretty well. The helmet and shoulderpads and weapons in particular look really nice (and isn't that what's most important in WoW? :) ). The face kind of feels separate from the rest though. Nice painting job! -

Sticking with the limited edition, it's price is being brought down in line with the regular edition over here. Wanted the Hobbe figure though :/ Bonus content is still an extra dungeon, a legendary weapon, spartan armour and energy sword from halo. -

:) Its pretty far from recoilless, but its a cool design. Though I have to wonder about how well one could shoot it with that much of the weapon's mass ahead of the grip. Nicely different take on pistol design though. -

Thanks for the advice! I'll be sure to keep checking in. Here's a small update after blocking in some armor and tacking on a bionic arm I whipped together which will serve to hold up the weapon I have planned. Updated Gallery -

Did they change the weapon unlock stuff back to achievements? I have played around 8 hours and got 3 things. :( None of which I use. Seems like I was getting stuff over the weekend but now nothing.
