Played around with light settings added a few more props into the scene. Also started looking into better foliage practices and hope to implement that into the next milestone! But current process and experimentation with tree models, which I hope to use to quickly generate a dense background.
Why are there concentric edgeloops around the belly button? :/ Seems like the reason to do that, would be because you want the belly button to move around autonomously from the spine. BTW, Modelling something is fine. You don't have to Zbrush everything, and this is fantastic practice.
Repeating the above by saying your characters have allot of style. Conveying an emotion in drawling is hard for me but it seems as tho you have got the gift. Nice stuff look forward to more sketchy sketches! Dmn 30min or less I need practice this.
yeah I noticed between some tiers it seemed to be a lot harder. Practice mode is your friend, and REMEMBER to strum correctly! It's gonna be a bitch going through the entire game again tonight but whatever, I want to have dragonforce beaten day one =)
Do your job AND your art. I've been working the same - SHITTY (grr!!) - fulltime job for near 3 years while I practice my skills as a 2D and 3D artist. If you're smart about it you can easily balance both.
Neat! Though I wonder how easy it is to use all of those buttons. Most of them look like they would feel kind of the same under your fingertips, might get confusing. I bet with some practice it would be all good though.
Head topo was recently discussed in dabu's thread: http://boards.polycount.net/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=194365&an=0&page=0#Post194365 For practice i would start a new head from scratch, but i guess it doesnt hurt to tweak that one and then move on.
Excellent Criqtics!!! No this is for low poly game lighting practice. I am thinking about placing this on the Unreal 3 editor too. Also any more comments about the lighting? Should the light be a bit more brighter without disturbing the murky mood of the scene?
I started this M1 yet again after reading Dur23's tutorial. Why practice. plus it's fun, my idea of fun anyway. I started painting at 64x64. Let me know what you think. Thanks for all the feedback. Alex
I love the design. The only thing I would suggest is a pintle-mounted belfted MG next to one of the top hatches to deal with pesky infantry that get too close. Practically every AFV I've ever seen has a "piss off" gun.
