Yup, ton of nice wallpapers on there! Strong competition, but Polycount has 8 out of 20 on the wallpapers list... if that means anything. Also, related blatant self-pimpage: http://www.ldaustinart.com/paul/domwar2/turnaround.mov (8mb)
Thanks man. There's a couple of 3d theme on my shop too if you'll check it out. I'm a 3d animator myself, so I can relate personally to all the designs there. I'd be happy to collaborate with polycount if possible =)
By levels, does this relate to luminosity values found on the marmoset website? i.e. adjust the levels to accurately match up (or make similar of) the luminosity values given within the material swatches provided using my own texture
Just a question relating to this topic, what's the advantage to learning how to draw anatomy in 2d versus solely learning and doing it in zbrush with anatomy reference from books? I guess in other words, what's the advantage to drawing?
also, enjoy the sketchfab of the skeleton ;) model and a snippet of the final product: (disclaimer : I only made the lion related thing. the montage effects and presentation are made by the museum itself ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbG-ltCgczE
thanks for the spoiler bud... :) lesson number one from polycount forums: never read anything related to the walking dead here... gotten major spoilers for the last episode where dale, well... you know... and now this.
106 grand already? That's a quicker start than Doublefine, isn't it? Will be interesting to see whether they can keep it up. On a semi-related note, Doublefine just shot past 3 million dollars with 8 hours remaining.
Do your UV islands overlap there, maybe? I'm wondering if it's at all related to this odd issue: http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/ContentBlog.html#Fixing%20specular%20highlights%20when%20using%20X%20and%20Y%20symmetrical%20texture%20mirroring
If you're upfront about the problems you're reporting don't expect anything other than a sale for parts.. if it's constantly crashing like you're saying that's UNlikely to be just a software issue and most likely something hardware related.
As a note, if you've used nDo at all, it turns off this setting by default. I used to get annoyed wondering why it kept turning off, before I looked through the settings in nDo and found something related to this.
