your latest update looks much better. I hear you about making it a simple weapon, rather than a level 80 epic whatever, but keep in mind, that adding interest is seldom a bad thing. Its looking great as it is, but you shouldn't rule out adding more uniqueness and flair.
He's also doing the Dungeon Seige movie, which is apparently too epic to be contained in one movie so must be split into 2! http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/dungeonsiege2/news.html?sid=6136825&q=uwe%20boll Tabarnac! According to wikipedia, he's in the bidding for Metal Gear Solid! Nooooooooooooo!
Thanks a lot for those nice tips. I'll try that. Psyk0: What do you mean by "hidden layers" trick ? By the way, do you use polygon cruncher ? I've seen that Epic guys use it a lot. But if we can handle 60 millions polygons within Max, is it really useful?
Maybe it's because I've been doing this for 19 years, so I have more options than most. There's a good chance places like Naughty Dog, Blizzard, and Epic get tons of qualified applicants, and my refusal to take an art test might preclude the possibility of me ever working for any of them.
Really like the concept Erik :) They have a lot of potential, you should really craft these into final illustrations. My favorite is clothing number 2 and the second helmet (to left, one from the top) in the future you should label them with digits or something so it's easier to comment on. Looking forward to seeing your…
I noticed this too. The thing is, even the skeletal meshes from Epic (Cathode and the Iron Guard) are still scaled to 96 units. So there's no way to actually know what the new player height is, because when you play there's no model to view even if you switch to debug mode. I'm not sure if this is documented somewhere?
Epic level up, James! You're really starting to hit your stride and your facial anatomy is getting a tonne better. Still a few issues here and there (as wizo above pointed out - he saved me a paintover :P), but I think you'll work through those kinks. Keep it up, mate!
Im not hyped. I like the idea of the universe but for me its only a very good basement for a game. Like a epic Journey aka Homeworld. I think i have the Skyrim illness. 100 different caves but after a few you know the "system" behind and nothing generated can suprise you anymore.
UE4 is now deferred, meaning all light calculation is split off and rendered after materials. They did just release a POM material node after numerous complaints and hacky-workarounds and they've already stated a few times that Forward rendering for some things will be implemented, so Epic is listening and is aware of the…
:D Thank you for everyone who has commented this Feedback is EPIC :D I really appreciate it! It'll be a couple days before im able to work on it again, but i just wanted to show my appreciation for the feedback :) So thank yall :) I'm aiming to post something mid next week :D
