They used unreal engine 2.5 for swat4, which is what they continued to build on for bioshock I'd guess, and bioshock2 being a direct sequel would most likely have used the same.
Specular has been broken for the past 2,5 years. Management doesn't think it's important enough to fix. (Broken = Any rgb value above 10 results in a clearcoat on the object)
Not sure which is looking better? the top one has a roughness of 0.4 where the bottom has roughness values of 1.5 for the grey and 2.5 for the blue. What are you thoughts guys?

A lot. :3 I remember when one day I made a mistake and tried to load my high poly instead of my low poly. 2.5 millions loaded without any problem, marmoset was a bit slow to turn the camera, but otherwise it was fine.
