Word. A lot of that detail ribbing and what not needs to be baked down into a normal map. 4k is huge for a repeated architectural detail that isn't right up in the player's grill. vvv Good point.
I don't think the coop is online, but it does have four player local coop which is awesome. I played the game solo, but people in the office here are raving about the coop.
I open this page, look at the winner, and the best song of the Monaco OST randomly kicks in from my music player... AWESOMENESS! :D Great job, I really love this piece.
i personally dislike constant runners as they take away control from the player, just limiting itself to few actions. i have yet to find one that i think is fun.
Thanks for posting the solution, Zipfinator :) Just out of interest, does the player walk over that particular area of Terrain without issue? As the problem might have been to do with collision detection.
If they did make them stronger, people would complain that a single dragon would wipe out villages in one swoop, and then the npc's would be made invincible to prevent that, and then players would complain.
Wondering why the regrets. This is an on-going Valve thing. Finish what you didn't finish and submit. Royalties are determined by player purchase. If Valve approves your stuff, it gets added to their store.
Aye. If it wasn't for the Uncharted series I would have likely sold the PS3 long ago and got a cheap BluRay player. Uncharted makes the system worth owning, its THAT good.
That is a good point and it is at around 6,000 triangles, but the idea is that the player will be able to enter a character at unit height in first person perspective so units should appear high enough in detail for that as well.
