hey man, from 2 projects i´ve participated, characters can range between 1000 to 2500 tris, it depends on which game you would do. I´m not sure how many in a screen tho.
Ahh cool, I remember you pimped a very early verysion a while back. Too bad there isn't a Linux port, but I will try it with "WINE". (Edit: sound works but the rest is just a black screen <- with WINE on Linux)
The math to avoid that is trivial, it's just that Max doesn't do it. Edit: or does do it after you fiddle with some buttons. Blender is an example of a 3d app which rotates uv coordinates in screen space regardless of texture dimension.
Quadrangulate your mesh, then in the retopology screen you just hit the "subdivide" button. Each time you subdivide it projects more detail. Keep pressing it until it projects all the details you want for your sculpt. Export.
Hollowmind, nah, I beat that with a 9m score. It wasn't even intentional... the very first person on the screen was the girl who does the STOP! thing, and i hit her almost horizontally... heh... but I didn't take a screenshot

Do higher screen resolutions really blow up the use of System RAM all that much ? I thought its mostly a problem for the GPU when stuff like Deferred Shading is being used. Could be wrong tho.
It only runs on XP, i tried with 2K and saw black screen and was dumped back to desktop. Also you really need the minimum videocard they list because my brother has ti4200 and it dumps him back to the desktop.

Hmm, my friend did it actually but he can't remember the whole thing, he baked it as albedo with combined method and it still has that "deepness" feel. I just want to bake it as albedo but without flatness effect, if it is possible Better quality screen
