Hi, Is there a way to force UDK to go to a lower LOD sooner with the landscape system? I don't need it to use such a high LOD as far as its drawing it atm. Anyone know? Thx!
I just use particle hair, convert ti to cards with hair tool addon, then sculpt the cards further. works ok, but never quite perfect Blenders new hair oprions are pretty good too ie geometry nodes, but I am not keen to switch over completely yet hair tools addon has its own shader with a nice anisotropic look
Sorry, I haven't looked into any of the Unity toon shaders yet. I'm pretty sure almost anything is possible with a bit of tinkering about with the shader code. Thanks for your reply. I tried to add a bone/socket location module but unfortunately it didn't make a difference. The particle is spawned to the right of the socket and when the socket moves and rotates according to the animation the particles are moving in the wrong direction. Drawing is always a good skill, you can't go wrong with it. You don't have to master it, but it will always help you in your work.
