You can transfer vertex color/polypaint with xNormals. http://eat3d.com/free_zbrush_xnormal_pipe Will you do some kinda sculpted skin texture? I like it! :D

Hey, I just wanted to add if you will be transferring the base texture using Xnormal, do not forget to untick "Ignore per-vertex-color" on the highpoly mesh.
Wow that's looking insane. You've done a great job of transferring the character from his mount to a more static diorama. The hair and beards also looking great
The mesh normals of the high poly mesh will transfer to the normal map. So if you have a hard edge or bad smoothing on the high, that will get baked into the normal map.
Please mail them with a request to make this for 3ds max. If it works for Maya, it should not be impossible to transfer a part of the code. Or is there someone who could make something like this?
You could try transferring files through google drive, and accessing your PC with the free version of Teamviewer. I've done that before, and it seemed to work alright.
